DOSIO VIGNETI
The offer is enriched with a new red wine:
Barbaresco 2018

Dosio Vigneti’s range expands in the sign of territorial identity and
of the continuous search for excellence

April 2022Dosio Vigneti, in the heart of Langhe, a UNESCO World Heritage area, enriches its offer of fine wines with an important new entry: the Barbaresco.

A new entry that once again testifies to the company’s constant search for quality and the highest expression of tradition, always focusing on the enhancement of the territory’s two great DOCGs (Barolo and Barbaresco).

Dosio’s Barbaresco comes from a careful and fine selection of Nebbiolo grapes from vineyards located in the municipalities of Neive and Barbaresco, where the decidedly marly soils give an aromatic wine that has rested for more than 24 months in large oak casks before refining in the bottle.

The colour is an intense garnet; on the nose there are hints of jammy small berries and floral notes reminiscent of roses against a light spicy background with pepper in evidence. In the mouth it displays enveloping tannins and a persistent aftertaste.

This structured red wine, with its great expressive power capable of lasting a long time, is excellent with game, braised meats and mature or spicy cheeses. It also goes perfectly with white truffle and mushroom recipes or with autumn vegetables such as pumpkin.

The bottle, with its simple, essential and elegant lines, aims to highlight the values that have characterized the company since its foundation: quality, care and respect for the cycles of nature, a bond with tradition and a spirit of innovation.
The new graphic design, another novelty for autumn 2021, is applied to the entire Dosio range to ensure consistency and recognizability.

About Dosio Vigneti

Dosio Vigneti cellars – part of a Group, a 100% Italian reality with Piedmontese roots – was founded in 1974 on a pre-existing farm dating back to the mid-18th century. Completely restructured over the years – particularly after the new ownership took over in 2010 – today this reality boasts around 15 hectares of estate vineyards that guarantee excellent wine production, a wine cellar located centrally to the estate and various areas and spaces dedicated to the presentation and tasting of the wines, with the possibility of enjoying a view that can sweep as far as the summit of Monviso. Here, the excellent position on the highest point of the hill at about 500m above sea level – with a completely southern exposure – ensures the right ventilation and temperature for the vineyards, guaranteeing a production of remarkable quality. The production philosophy is carried forward by pursuing the founding values of quality and tradition, with an eye to innovation and an unavoidable respect for the territory thanks to production and cultivation methods aimed at reducing the impact on the environment as much as possible. https://dosiovigneti.com/
