A new white debuts at Vinitaly:
the Langhe D.O.C. Riesling

Vinitaly, April 2022 – At Vinitaly, Dosio Vigneti, in the heart of Langhe, a UNESCO World Heritage area, announces the debut of a new white wine, the Langhe D.O.C Riesling, an expression of its strong passion for international grape varieties.
A passion combined with respect for the uniqueness of the territory where microclimates and landscapes, sometimes mountainous, are favourable to varieties such as this one, that originates in the Rhine valley. Together, the complexity and harmony of the Langhe hills give a white wine with elegance and completeness. The vineyards are located on limestone-clay soils with an east/south-east exposure. Harvesting is by hand during the first half of September.
The Langhe Riesling of Dosio Vigneti is a soft wine and, at the same time, fresh in acidity, a quality that allows it to evolve well over time. It has an intense and brilliant straw yellow colour with greenish reflections. The nose is balanced with fruity scents reminiscent of peach and plum, as well as tropical fruits. Over time, it can take on scents reminiscent of its characteristic mineral notes. It conquers the palate with its great personality and is pleasantly fresh on the palate with excellent sapidity and a lingering aftertaste.
It is a wine that adapts well to both boiled and grilled fish dishes, as well as white meats. Excellent with radicchio risotto and pasta dishes with vegetables in general.
About Dosio Vigneti
Dosio Vigneti cellars – part of a Group, a 100% Italian reality with Piedmontese roots – was founded in 1974 on a pre-existing farm dating back to the mid-18th century. Completely restructured over the years – particularly after the new ownership took over in 2010 – today this reality boasts around 15 hectares of estate vineyards that guarantee excellent wine production, a wine cellar located centrally to the estate and various areas and spaces dedicated to the presentation and tasting of the wines, with the possibility of enjoying a view that can sweep as far as the summit of Monviso. Here, the excellent position on the highest point of the hill at about 500m above sea level – with a completely southern exposure – ensures the right ventilation and temperature for the vineyards, guaranteeing a production of remarkable quality.
